This study examines the implementation of land acquisition for the construction of
the Jogja-Bawen toll road in Padukuhan Bantulan, Kalurahan Margokaton,
Kapanewon Seyegan, Sleman Regency, DIY. The study aims to analyze the land
acquisition process, including the identification of land ownership, valuation, and
the provision of compensation in accordance with Government Regulation No. 19
of 2021 on the Implementation of Land Acquisition for Development in the Public
Interest. This study reveals that the implementation of land acquisition is complex
and involves many parties, including residents who hold ownership rights to the
land, government agencies acting as implementers, and institutions requiring the
land. The study indicates that the implementation of land acquisition is influenced
by various factors, including the regulatory framework, institutional capacity, and community involvement.
