This study aims to analyze traffic performance in the Pakualaman Cultural Heritage Area ofYogyakarta using a macroscopic modeling approach through PTV VISUM software. The Origin-Destination (OD) Matrix was refined using the TFlowFuzzy method to better reflect 2024 traffic conditions. The analysis found that several roads experienced high saturation levels (VIC Ratio > 0.85) and low Levels of Service.
By applying alternative traffic engineering scenarios, notable improvements were observed in average travel speed and reduced congestion levels. These results demonstrate that integrating traffic modeling with data-driven strategies can offer effective solutions for managing mobility in complex heritage areas. The study supports the development of sustainable transport policies in culturally sensitive zones.
