This research aims to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesia’s coffee export and the
influencing factors in the international market from 2004-2023. The method used to
analyze the competitiveness of coffee is Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA)
analysis and to identify the influencing factors is multiple linear regression analysis
method. This research uses coffee commodity HS-codes 0901: Coffee, whether or not
roasted or decaffeinated; coffee husks and skins; coffee substitutes containing coffee in
any proportion. The data used in this research are secondary data that are obtained and
used to calculate the RCA index as well as the multiple linear regression analysis model.
The RCA index value shows that Indonesia's exports had high competitiveness in the
international market over the past 20 years. Subsequently, factors that affect the RCA
index were checked. It is shown, through multiple linear regression, that inflation and
GDP per capita have significant positive impacts on Indonesia's coffee export
competitiveness, while international coffee prices and production have significant
negative impacts
