The purpose of this research is to know and examine the law issue formulation as
written previously. This research was an empirical law research. Based on the
results of the study it can be concluded that the gain land ownership certificate
(buying and selling) has put legal protections in Samarinda. It is proved by the
results that respondents overall had registerd the transfer of the Property Rights
over the land so that it has obtained the certificate Land Owner, and the
respondent has obyained legal protection despite two respondents who received
lawsuits from the third party admitted the land. The lawsuit also were eventually
won by the respondents as the legitimate holders of the land ownership rights.
