Abstract

The shopping center of Timor Plaza Mall which located in Dili city have
activity intencity which high enough. The interaction that happened between seller
and buyer in the shopping center will resulted movement of traffic current around
shopping center complex to generate problem among other the happened inflict of
traffic volume at roadway residing in around shopping center of Timor Plaza Mall.
This analysis has done primary survey and secondary survey from Timor
Plaza Mall. The primary survey was done on Sunday, March, 16 2014 and Monday,
March, 17 2014 at 06.00pm - 19.00pm Otl. This survey covers location survey, traffic
volume, distributing questionnaire and peak hour calculation. Secondary survey was
done by collecting data from Timor Plaza Mall manager and Timor Leste’s Ministry
of finance (Ministério das finança).
The research result is performance joint street have almost reached boundary
to the peaceful shown with Degree of Saturation which have reached 0.57 in 2014
and Degree Saturation will increase to become 0.90 in 2024. As recommendation and
suggestion need for further study of this research, especially the impact of the
environmental aspects of the operation of the mall on the form of noise, pollution and
vibration as well as the construction of age at the time of the construction of the mall.
