The purpose of this research is to know the coordination between Badan
Narkotika Nasional (BNN) with Polisi Republik Indonesia (POLRI) to eradicate
drug trafficking. To know what efforts will be undertaken by government officials
(POLRI and BNN) to eradicate drug trafficking. To know the obstacles faced by
government officials (POLRI and BNN) in dealing drug trafficking. This research
used normative law research which is a research that focuses on the norms and
principles of law. In this research the norm that being observed is act number 35
of 2009 concerning narcotics. The researcher conducts abstraction concerning
efforts or actions undertaken by the government in this case is the POLRI and
BNN in dealing drug trafficking. The researcher conducts law synchronization
systematically related to this research include description, systematization,
analysis, and interpretation concerning law research whether the narcotic
circulation even the criminal offender narcotics traffickers have received legal
sanction from the government. The data source gained from the study of literature
in the form of primary legal materials that is positive legal norms relating to the
research, and secondary legal materials including books related to narcotics
trafficking problem, books related to duties and authority of government officials,
and books related to the narcotics impact for Indonesian people and country,
scientific researches, discussions or seminars about preventive and repressive
actions of government officials, newspaper and websites related to preventive and
repressive action against drug trafficking that can ruin people's lives in Indonesia.
The data collecting method by using literature study and source interviews with
the kabag bin opsnal Polda DIY and kepala pemberantasan BNN wilayah
Yogyakarta. The Analysis method was by understanding, stringing up or
reviewing data that has been collected systematically.
