To find and examine how the Implementation of Government Regulation
No. 2 of 2003 on Indonesian police members disciplinary rules against police
officers who commit abuse of authority, because of the many cases of abuse of
authority committed by police officers in carrying out their duties and functions.
The method used is the normative legal research. The data used ara primary
legal materials and secondary legal materials. Primary legal materials is obtained
from legislation related to this research. Secondary legal materials is obtained
from the legal opinion, the books, the principles of law, expert opinions, and
research results related to the Implementation of Government Regulation No. 2 of
2003 concerning the rules of discipline members Indonesian Police.
That the implementation or application of government regulation against
abuses of authority committed by police officers have been partially implemented
in accordance with Government Regulation No. 2 of 2003 on the Rules of
Discipline Members of Indonesian Police with the implementation of Section 6
the letter Q and the sanctions according to Section 9 the letter E and the letter f,
but there are many cases of abuse of authority by police officers who have not yet
implemented Government Regulation No. 2 of 2003 on the Rules of Discipline
Members of the Indonesian National Police.
