Can’t be denied a means of rehabilitation for drug users to recover from the snare
of narcotics. The rule of law regarding drug rehabilitation in the legislation used
to govern how rehabilitation could be done. Narcotics law number 35 of 2009
article 56 explans that drug rehabilitation is under the supervision of the
government and determined by the government. Based on article 56 of law
number 35 of 2009 regarding narcotics, rehabilitation could be made in a hospital
angaged by the minister and certain rehabilitation institute which was held by
government agencies or the public after approval by miniters. Rehabilitations is
divided into two forms, these are social rehabilitation and medical rehabilitation.
Both rehabilitations existence is recognited by the government. The constraints
are encountered during the process of rehabilitation can come from inside or
outside. From the outside there is a constraint on the rehabilitation of the
environment around the user, while the constraint from inside is the desire of usrs
toparticipate in a rehabilitation programs. The constraint that aften accours is a
delayed government in improving rehabilitations facilities. As for the problem
that often occurs is a belated government in improving rehabilitation facility.
From the research it can be concluded that the government didn’t hands-off in a
lot of narcotics cases occur in Yogyakarta.
