This thesis entitled Implementation of Surakarta City Government
Responsibility In Klewer Market Based Management District Regulation No. 1 of 2010
Concerning the Management and Protection of Markets. The purpose of this study was to
determine whether implementation of the Traditional Government's responsibility in the
management of Surakarta Klewer Market is in conformity with Local Rule No. 1 of
2010 Concerning the Management and Protection of Traditional Markets and the factors
supporting and inhibiting Surakarta Municipality in Klewer Market Management. Research
carried out the empirical legal research is research that focuses on people's behavior. The
source data is a primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained directly
from the source, namely Surakarta City Market Management Department and Head of
Market Klewer, respondents in the Market traders and buyers Klewer. Secondary data
consists of primary legal materials, secondary and tertiary. The primary legal materials
consist of legislation. Secondary legal materials through library research by reading books
and websites related to the market. Tertiary legal materials is a big dictionary Indonesian.
Data analysis methods used are qualitative method is a method of analysis to understand
and assemble the data that has been collected systematically in order to obtain an overview
of the problem or situation understudy. The results showed the market and provide the
authority to organize the space in the market by Klewer Surakarta Surakarta City Market
Management Department in collaboration with the Head of Market Klewer. Facilities
management market in the form of sanitary facilities and APAR is managed by others
through the auction. The spatial arrangement relating to market facilities, in cooperation
with the Office of the Light CV Citra Mandiri in facilities management APAR and CV
Kasa Mandiri in the management of public toilet facilities in order to market the facility
can be reached easily by user Klewer Market. User awareness of market facilities are
very influential in the maintenance of the facility.
