Advocate is the person who give a legal service either in and outside of the court
which is eligible with the provinsions of legislation No 18 of 2003. Advocate is a respectful
professional (officium nobile), in which in conducting the professional they are free, selfmanaged
and responsible. Advocate is a noble and honorable profession and they are equal
with the prosecutor and the judge there all have important contributions in law enforcement.
The right of immunity is one of advocate authority. The right of immunity is the right of
advocate liberty for doing or not doing any act, provide or not about an opinion, information
and document to any people while running their duty. Therefore advocate could not be
punished as a consequences their implementation their duties. On the writing of scientific
works, I researched empirical and trying to get any opinion or appraisement about the
professional advocate which can implementation the right immunity.
The result of research, give the conclusion that application of right immnunity had
relatedness with advocate professionalism. Application of right immunity excuted with obey
law which will give an professionalism impact and reflect honored profession for advocate.
