Abstract

This research was conducted in the district of Yogyakarta Special Province to
find out roles of 30% women representatives in Legislative Institutes of
Yogyakakarta Special Province. This is a socio legal research. The research result
showed that sociologically women representatives in Legislative Institutes can
prevent corruption crime by applying three key words written by Gus Dur about
women showing empowerment of women, that are: “women who take inisiatives”,
“women are symbols of God Almigty” and “women are theological image”
internally in carrying out their jobs and duties every day in their institutes. By
behaving in such a way women representatives can give good examples as clean
personalities not only to their colleagues of the same institutes, but also for all
olther civil servants and all society in Yogyakarta Special Province in general to
grow anti corruption legal culture.
