The problem in this law research is to find out to what extend the role of judicial institutions of commerce in settling the disputes between debtor and creditor has ensured justice and society's just feelings, by completing the bankruptcy problems in quick, just, and transparent manner based on Bankruptcy Law No.37 of the year 2004. This research is aimed at analyzing the role of judicial institutions, especially commerce judicial institutions, in settling the disputes between the concerned parties, on the basis of Bankruptcy Law No.37 of the year 2004. This is a normative law research which focuses on the normative aspect and it
needs secondary data in terms of law material as the main data. The result of this research is that the commerce judicial institutions in settling the disputes between the concerned parties on the basis of Bankruptcy Law No.37 of the year 2004 either on the first degree examination or in appellate level has actually ensured the rights of both dispute parties. However, there is still some weakness in the law and in human resources as well that need to be improved.
