The victim's right to the removal of sexual content is classified as the right to treatment and the victim's right to recovery before and during the judicial process
as regulated in Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence. This research aims to determine the legal certainty in the regulations on
the removal of sexual content for victims of online gender-based violence based on Government Regulation Number 30 of 2025 concerning the Prevention of Sexual
Violence Crimes and the Handling, Protection, and Recovery of Victims of Sexual
Violence Crimes. This research is a normative study. This research uses secondary
data sources from primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. This
research shows that the regulation on the removal of sexual content for victims of online gender-based violence based on Government Regulation Number 30 of 2025 has not been able to provide legal certainty for victims. There is no binding time limit for the institutions receiving reports to forward and follow up on requests for removal of sexual content to the next stages. There is inconsistency in the use of
phrases, which causes uncertainty about which institution should be addressed when submitting a request for sexual content removal.
