Abstract
This study discusses the misuse of evidence in narcotics crimes committed
by an investigator and the accountability an investigator must bear when caught
using narcotics evidence. The problem identified in this study is the form of
accountability for investigators who misuse evidence in narcotics crimes. The
method used in this study is a normative research method. The results of this study
indicate that the form of accountability carried out by investigators is dishonorable
discharge.
