This study examines the supervision conducted by the Environmental Service
(DLH) of Bantul Regency on the management of liquid waste by CV. Herbal Tama
Persada as an effort to prevent water pollution in Kapanewon Banguntapan. The
study employed an empirical legal method with data collected through interviews,
observation, and literature review. The findings indicate that while DLH’s
supervision is in place, it remains suboptimal due to limitations in water quality
testing equipment. The waste management efforts by CV. Herbal Tama Persada are
also inadequate, leaving room for environmental pollution risks. This research
underlines the need for enhanced monitoring infrastructure and enforcement of
administrative sanctions to ensure regulatory compliance.
