Occupational safety and health and Social Security Administration Agency for
Employment are important elements in ensuring the sustainability of the health
and comfort of firefighters. This study discusses the implementation of
occupational safety and health and Social Security Administration Agency for
Employment for firefighters in Yogyakarta City. This study uses an empirical
legal research method sourced from interviews conducted with the Manpower
Sub-Division and operational workers with non-ASN/JLOP status. Based on the
results of the study, in practice the Yogyakarta City Fire Department has
implemented occupational safety and health in accordance with existing laws,
but the implementation related to Social Security Administration Agency for
Employment applied to firefighters is not fully in accordance with existing laws,
because Social Security Administration Agency for Employment contribution
payments are still made independently by workers and the registered programs
have not been fully provided to workers.
