Abstract

This artide represent the summary ofnews research of earthquake's news in the Yogyakarta and Central Java at May 27 2006 on daily newspaper of Kompas and Kedaulatan Rakyat. Research focus at news obyektivity. Result ofresearch indicate that between Kompas and Kedaulatan Rakyat have the high same degree ofobyektivity in the case ofsentence type used in writing news, coalescence of time of news pervasion, factuality, and used attribute. Kompas have the higher degree obyektivity in the case of according to title with the content ofnews and supporter data compared to by Kedaulatan Rakyat
