Social insurance is needed to deal with risks, improve welfare, and maintain
social stability. Workers in religious institutions such as churches are also
entitled to social insurance. This research aims to analyze the construction of
work relations between employers and workers and to analyze the
implementation of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in the St. Peter and Paul
Minomartani Catholic Church. This research uses empirical legal research
methods with interviews as a secondary data collection method. Based on the
research results, PGPM Minomartani and workers at St. Peter and Paul
Minomartani Catholic Church do not have a working relationship because
PGPM Minomartani is not an entrepreneur but an organizer of a religious
non-profit organization. The fulfillment of the right to BPJS
Ketenagakerjaan for workers at the St. Peter and Paul Minomartani Catholic
Church has not been implemented because there are discrepancies in terms of
registration, participant status, programs followed, and payment of
contributions.
