Abstract

This research analyzes the evidence in online gambling
criminal cases through a case study of the verdict numbered
214/Pid.B/2020/PN Bantul. The research method used is
normative juridical research with a case study approach. The
analysis shows that proving online gambling criminal cases
faces complex challenges, especially in collecting electronic evidence and obtaining witness testimony. The verdict of Bantul district court in this case study provides insights into how the court confronts these challenges. This study offers valuable insights for stakeholders involved in law enforcement related to similar cases in the future.
