Double Track System states that there are criminal sanctions and action sanctions in the imposition of verdicts, this two-track penal system can be implemented in combination where it has an equal position, in the imposition of narcotics convictions it can be found that there is an application of this two-track penal system, namely in the imposition of criminal sanctions as well as action sanctions
in the form of rehabilitation medical measures. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the benefits of using a double track system in sentencing drug offenders. This study took the results of interviews with sources from the Denpasar District Court. The result of the research is that the benefits of the double track system sanctions can be found in various aspects including benefits for the state, benefits for the government, benefits for law enforcement officials, benefits for drug abusers, and benefits for the community.
