Tourism is all matters relating to tour, includes the availability of tourist
attraction and object and also the business relating to this field. Tourism in
Yogyakarta City has slogan , i.e Sapta Pesona, in the conjunction to the case of
onderliness and security. Malioboro weak in conducting Sapta Pesona function,
i.e. the case of parking management in Malioboro area of which lack of secure
and disorganized , thus it causes the area of Malioboro as unpleasant area. The
type of research used was empirical legal research , i.e research focusing on the
behavior of legal society. The result gained was the management of parking in
Malioboro area has not been conducted appropriately on the ground of the
limitation of parking pocket , thus parking used body of street in Malioboro area.
Thus , the management of parking has not supported the development of tourism
in Malioboro area in the matter of Malioboro area is lact of comfort as one of the
tourist areas. Thus, the case of parking is not the only case of which prevent the
development of tourism in Yogyakarta city in particulary in Malioboro area , as
has been stated in the slogan of Sapta pesona. The suggestion from the result of
this research was in order to increase the quality of given human resource and also
the needs of regulation on parking, in particularly in Malioboro area.
