The research was conducted to implementation of infusion plastic waste

management through recycling Based on Government Regulation Number 27 of
2020 concerning Specific Waste Management. According to the law on waste
management, The implementation of waste management is carried out through
several stages. The analytical method used in this research is empirical, where data
is obtained from primary data that is interviews (one of the staff of the B3 waste
section of the Environment Service of Yogyakarta, third party waste recycling, one
of the hospital and one of the doctors) and secondary data such as statutory
regulations that related to specific waste management permit, books, journals, the
internet. The conclusion of this research is the implementation of processing used
infusion plastic waste through recycling based on Government Regulation Number
27 of 2020 through several stages, the first stage is sorting specific waste, then the
stage of collecting used infusion plastic waste, then the waste is disinfected by the
hospital or clinic, then the stage of transportation and the last is the recycling of
waste by third parties to become materials and goods that are more useful for the
public. The management of used plastic waste infusion through recycling in the City
of Yogyakarta is in accordance with Government Regulation Number 27 of 2020.
