Abstract

Environmental management is important to be considered as the timesare
increasingly being found. Waste is one of the dangerous substance that has a serious
impact on the environment. Many big companies produce waste, especially hazardous
chemical waste that has a negative impact on the environment if there is no supervision
and management, for example hospital. Hospital produce hazardous and toxic waste, for
example expired drugs, chemical liquid waste resulting from operations, waste of medical
equipment that is no longer suitable for use, etc. legal arrangements in Indonesia clearly
regulate hazardous and toxic waste accompanied by sanctions against violators. The
focus of this thesis writing is efforts to control waste as an effort to control environment
pollution in Animal Hospitals of Prof.Soeparwi, and monitoring constraints that occur.
The main purposeof writing this thesis is expected to be useful for the development of
science, especially environmental law, as well as a reference for related parties between
hospital waste manager and the government authorized to supervise waste, also for result
of research by the author of supervision by the hospital have fulfilled standard
procedures for waste control, but supervision carried out by the government is less than
optimal, and should monitoring of hazardous and toxic waste be scheduled in a
structured and routine manner so that environment pollution in the animal hospital of
Prof. Soeparwi can be prevented.
