Abstract

The title of this research is Application of 3R Principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
in Waste Management in Fast Food Restaurant KFC Yogyakarta in Go-Food Era
(Case Studies Fast Food Restaurant KFC Sudirman). The main issue of this
research is about the application of 3R Principles in waste management in the Go-
Food Era and about the perceived obstacles to apply the 3R Principles. The
purpose of this research is expected to find out about the application of 3R
(Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) in waste management in the fast food restaurant KFC
Sudirman Yogyakarta in the Go-Food era, and it’s expected to be able to provide
advices for the KFC Sudirman itself and Yogyakarta City Government in the
context of controlling environmental problems as a result of the fast restaurant
industry. This research is using legal empirical research and focusing on the social
facts, where the datas are obtained from some interviews with respondents and
sources of information. The conclusion of this research is 3R Principles has not
been optimally implemented yet in KFC Sudirman especially the Recycle
Principle, and also the volume of trash in Yogyakarta increases from time to time
because of the delivery service that is provided by Gojek.
