The title of legal research is the Production Sharing Agreement between land
owners and cultivators in Muaro Jambi district, Jambi Province.The research
objective related to the title is to determine the process of production sharing
agreements related to oil palm plants made between land owners and
smallholders and to find out the rights and obligations arrangements between
land owners and smallholders in production sharing agreements.Profit sharing as
referred to here is an agreement between the parties based on the principle of
mutual benefit and mutual trust between the agreed parties. The research method
used is empires legal research, namely research that is based on positive legal
