Abstract

The Police Professional Code of Ethics is the control of every Police action. But there are still members of the Police who do not act according to the Police
Professional Code of Ethics. Therefore, a research is conducted on the effectiveness of the Police Ethics Court: Study in the Yogyakarta Regional Police. This research is an empirical study. The type of research data is primary data and secondary data, using primary legal sources, secondary legal sources and tertiary legal materials. Method of collecting data in the form of literature study and
interviews with respondents. The data analysis method used in this legal research is a qualitative analysis method. The results showed that the implementation of Law 22 2002 and Regulation Of Police In The State of Republic Indonesia 14
2011 had not been implemented evenly.
