This paper is titled about how The Responsibility of PT. OMNI Global Indonesia in
Standardization Product of Toys. This paper writes by doing research with empirical
normative method. This research with empirical normative method focus on how the
responsibility of PT. OMNI Global Indonesia as a conformity assessment institute based
on Indonesia’s Regulation of Act Number 20 of 2014 about Standardization and
Conformity Assessment and, Regulation of the Minister of Industry of the Minister of
Industry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 29 of 2018 concerning the Third
Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister of Industry Number 24 / M-IND / PER /
4/2013 concerning the Imposition of Indonesian National Standards (SNI) of Toys
Obligatory. So, as a Conformity Assessment Institute (LPK) has responsibility in issuing
SPPT-SNI if the Conformity Assessment Institute (LPK) cannot account for its actions, it
can be subject to administrative sanctions by the National Accreditation Committee
(KAN) contained in Article 39 paragraph (3) of the Act Law Number 20 of 2014
concerning Standardization and Conformity Assessment.
