Factory as one of the land uses has a quite high intensity in attracting movement. This study aims to analyze the pull of movement in the sugar factory and Madukismo spritus factory, Bantul. The amount of the pull of the movement depends on various variables that influence it. Therefore, this study aims to model the pull of movement towards the influential variables of a land use that functions as a center of factory activity.
This study is conducted by making a questionnaire. The independent variable of this study are the number of the family member, the number of family who have worked, residential status, occupational class, vehicle ownership, personal income, family income, transportation costs per month, use of transportation modes, distance from home to the factory area, length of time in the factory area, travel time to the factory area, availability of parking lots. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is the number of trips to the factory.
The model analysis is based on the multiple regression model with the excel program tools. The model testing embodies the correlation test, determining the value of R in the relation of each variable, and the multiple regression assumptions test. The results of this study are the pull of movement’s model: Y = 5,568 + 0,139X2 + 0,211X8 - 0,308X9 + 0,230X10,, where R2= 0,507, Y= the number of trips to the factory, X2= the number of family members who have worked, X8= the transportation costs per month, X9= Use of transportation mode X10= the distance from home to he factory area
