Abstract

This research entitled Implementation Of Human Rights According To The
Universal Declaration Of Human Rights For Eviction Victims Of New Yogyakarta
International Airport In Kulon Progo. The problem of this research is “how the
implementation of human rights according to the Universal Declaration Of Human
Rights for eviction victims of new Yogyakarta International Airport In Kulon Progo?. The
purpose of this research’s to know the implementation of human rights according to the
Universal Declaration Of Human Rights for eviction victims of new Yogyakarta
International Airport In Kulon Progo.
The conclusion from this research, the implementation of human rights according
to the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights for eviction victims of new Yogyakarta
International Airport In Kulon Progo has been implemented according to existing laws.
Indonesian Government has implemented the rules in article 8, aricle 9, and article 23
Universal Declaration Of Human Rights which in essence has provided compensation,
has conducted a poll to victims of eviction and the provision of new jobs. But on the other
hand, it has not fulfilled article 17 and article 25 Universal Declaration Of Human Rights
because other law enforcement agencies still use violence to forcibly take resident’s
houses into the new airport project.
