Thesis entitled "Legal Aspects of Lake Toba Protection From Pollution Due
to Surrounding Community Activities." Formulation of the Problem What
are the Legal Aspects of Lake Toba Protection From Pollution from
Surrounding Community Activities and what are the obstacles in the Legal
Aspects of Lake Toba Protection from Pollution due to Surrounding
Community Activities. This type of thesis research is empirical legal
research. Empirical legal research is legal research that focuses on the
behavior of the legal community. This research was conducted directly to
respondents as the main data supported by secondary data consisting of
primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal
materials. Legal Aspects of Protection of Lake Toba from Pollution due to
Community Activities in the vicinity, in Law 32 of 2009 concerning
Environmental Protection and Management Jo Regulation of the State
Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28 of 2009 concerning
Capacity of Lake and / or Reservoir Water Pollution, while Simalungun
Regency area has not yet regulated the protection regulations for Lake Toba.
