Abstract

The thesis is entitled "Management of the Kramat Jati Central Market Waste as an
Environmental Pollution Prevention Effort in East Jakarta City." Formulation of the Problem How
to Manage the Kramat Jati Central Market Waste as an Environmental Pollution PreventionEffort
in East Jakarta City. This type of thesis research is empirical legal research. Empiricallegal
research is legal research that focuses on the behavior of the legal community. This
research was conducted directly to respondents as the main data supported by secondary
dataconsisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal
materials.Kramat Jati Central Market waste management in East Jakarta as an effort
to preventenvironmental pollution has been carried out yet optimally in accordance with the
wishes of LawNumber 18 of 2008 in conjunction with the Jakarta Regional Regulation
No. 3 of 2013concerning Waste Management.
