Abstract

ABSTRACT
The title of the thesis is “ Law Protection for Victims of Criminal Offenses Who Receive Parole”, the formulation problem is how the law protection for victims of criminal acts who have received paraole work. The background of this writing applying to the law protection of victims has not been yet maximized and it aims to research the law protection for victims of criminal acts who have received parole,with type of research used is normative with literature study and conducting interview with BAPAS 1 Yogyakarta. The conclucion of the research is legal protection for victims has not been maximized in realization regarding of act number 31 of year 2014 the changes of the law to the protection of witnesses and victims, because for receiving law protection the victims have to fulfill the requirements and decision from the witness protection and victim institutions are mandatory , it is still going through a difficult process and the victim’s position in the criminal justice system is limited and need to be rearranged.
