Abstract

This study is about the environmental pollution caused by the livestock waste in Boyolali
regency. The method used in this research was empirical law research, which means the
research was focused on the social fact. This research was done directly with the interviewees in
order to gain primary data which supported by the secondary as a supporting data (law
material) which consist of primary and secondary law materials. According to the research that
recently done, the Government’s Environmental Agency is the institution that has the rights in
controlling the environmental pollution caused by the livestock waste in Boyolali regency. The
controlling process they already done are: prevention, treatment, and recovery. But in fact, the
controlling of environmental pollution by the Government’s Environmental Agency in Boyolali
regency hasn’t going well this far.
