Abstract

The use of land cannot be separated from human life since birth even when we
return to the Creator. Therefore, providing religious based non-public burial sites
is important to think about and provide. The purpose of this research is to find out
whether the Land Rights for the Arimatea Cemetery and GMIM Torsina
Tumumpa have been registered in order to realize legal certaintyThe research in
this paper uses a type of empirical legal research. Empirical legal research
examines applicable legal provisions and what happens in reality in the
community. The data in this study are based on primary data, namely the
manager of the Not General Arimatea Cemetery and the Non-General Cemetery
of GMIM Torsina Tumumpa and secondary data consisting of primary, secondary
and tertiary legal materials. The results obtained are the Arimatea Cemetery Not
General has obtained legal certainty which is marked by the issuance of a
certificate of Property Rights on behalf of the GMIM " Jemaat Kristus" Manado.
Non-General Cemetery Places GMIM Torsina Tumumpa has not received legal
certainty over the land that has been used for the Public Cemetery because the
management has not yet managed the conversion of the land.
