Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of net working capital, growth
opportunity, and leverage on the company’s cash holding of the property and real
estate sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research period used is
the period 2014-2016. The design of this study is causal associative research. The
sample in this study was obtained by purposive sampling method. Based on the
existing criteria, 41 companies were included in the study sample. The data used
is secondary data. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The
results showed that Net Working Capital was positive toward the Cash Holding,
Growth Opportunity and Leverage had no effect on Cash Holding. The ability of
the independent variables in explaining the dependent variable is 13.1%, while the
remaining 86.9% is explained by other variables outside the research model.
