Abstract

The construction of the hospital rapidly, turned out to be a very strategic position
to the decline in the quality of the environment because of the activities of the
hospital waste produces variegated with a sufficient amount of lots. So many
efforts that had already been done by the hospital authorities nor the condong
Catur Sleman, however has not been effective. In the writing of graduation thesis
of this hospital which was used as the main focus is the Hospital of Condong
Catur. The purpose of writing this thesis/law in order to find out the legal aspects
concerning the management of hospital waste Condong Catur as environmental
pollution prevention efforts in Sleman and related constraints. Types of legal
research are used in legal research this is a normative legal research. Normative
legal research is research with a focus on legislation. The types of waste that are
managed by the Hospital of Condong Catur was liquid waste through the stages
of the management of Waste water management Installations (IPAL). solid waste
in this case waste B3 in management, the third party who is working with the
Hospital of condong catur not doing well as well as for the management of liquid
waste itself, installation management systems wastewater (IPAL) outdated so
need to do an upgrade or renewal.
