This research objective is to examine the impact of foreign ownership to
financial performance represent by return on asset (ROA) and stock performance
represent by stock return. Sample of data is from all listed company on Indonesia
Stock Exchange (IDX) with minimum 20% of foreign ownership and published their
annual report from 2013 to 2017. Total of 56 companies become the observation of
research with total panel data of 280. The research used pearson correlation and t-test
to test the hypothesis of research.
Result of this research from t-test shows foreign ownership has no impact to
ROA and stock return. The correlation between foreign ownership and ROA is
positive relationship. The correlation between foreign ownership and stock return is
negative relationship.
