Abstract

Narcotic is a remarkable crime dispersed in Indonesia. Narcotics need an
appropriate treatment in order to handle its dispersion, for the users are not only
civilians but also the member of state authorities, such as Indonesian National
Military (TNI). There were many members of TNI caught in the drugs crime,
while TNI itself is a professional visor commisioned to protect the country. TNI
has judicial institution by itself, so there must be ways for the military police and
BNN to overcome the narcotic crime committed by TNI members. The writer
applied normative legal research, which is focused on positive law in the form of
legislation. The datas collected by library research and interviews conducted in
BNNP Yogyakarta and Detachment of Military Police Denpom IV / 2 Yka Pmdam
IV / Diponegoro. BNN's coordination form is to capture, test and issued BAP and
handed the investigation over the military police. The settlement of the prevention
of this crime almost identical to the general public, but BNN has to coordinate
with the unit commanders in conducting workshops to prevent the dispersion of
narcotics among the TNI.
