Abstract

Advocate. The rules in formed into Advocate Code of Ethics which is made and negotiate by all
of the Advocate Organizations in Indonesia. In the Advocate code of Ethics, there is a
professional honorary council whose duty is to observe and arbitrate the violation against the
code of ethics done by the Advocate. There are a lot of voolations against Advocate code of
Ethics done by the Advocate whether its done accidentally or in consciousness when doing the
profession as an Advocate. Based on the fact, according to the writer, we need to review the
existence of the Advocate Code of Ethics to understand whether the Code of Ethics is already
meet the legal purpose for the injured party occurred because of the deviant attitude of the
Advocate, and also for the improvement of the attitude and system made for the honorable
purpose. Then, for that reason, the writer makes a scientific writing titled: “ The effectiveness of
ethical sanctions toward the violation of Advocate Code of Ethics”
