Writing of this law, entitled implementation rehabilitation of protected forests damages the
National Park Mount Merapi in Sleman district, province of Yogyakarta Special Region.
Purpose of this study was to determine, assess, and analyze the implementation of
rehabilitation destruction of protected forest (TNGM) through reforestation in Sleman district
DIY province. research has been done is the empirical legal research. Which is a study that
focuses on the behavior of the legal community.
The results of the study showed that in the implementation ofrehabilitation in TNGM
protected forests through afforestation by the TNGM in collaboration with the kanopi
indonesian foundation which farmers group involved in writing. Farmer groups who have
been carrying out rehabilitation residing around TNGM protected forests. This farmer groups
in addition planting seeds provided by kanopi Indonesian Foundation juga menanam bibit
yang dibawanya sendiri this farmers are given the responsibility to care began planting crops.
planting is done by cleaning the location, selecting seeds, plantingand fencing to provide care
for plants. Greening activities that have already implemented the welfare of the people
around TNGM protected forest.
